Coffee Snobs
Fearne Cotton and Skills Minister David Lammy congratulate the best of London’s apprentices, employers and education providers at the Skills for London Awards, held on 6th June 2008 at the Royal Opera House.
Over 100 candidates from across London battled it out to win accolades which recognised the top apprentices, businesses and skills providers from across the capital.
Coffee Snobs is a young and exciting company with an enthusiasm for
its business which is infectious and whose staff are always friendly,
helpful and committed to providing the ultimate coffee experience for
every customer they serve.
With the help of Telford based training provider, Business Management Resources (UK) Ltd, Coffee Snobs scooped the Learning and Skills Council ‘Train to Gain Employer of the Year Award for Medium Sized Businesses’ in recognition of their outstanding work in developing bespoke learning solutions for their staff.
David Skinsley, Coffee Snob’s Director said,
“We are delighted to receive this award, but credit must also go to our training provider who convinced us investment in training is worthwhile and would enable us to realise our vision for the business The training our staff receive is of the highest quality. They have done us proud”.
Deva Odedra, Director of Business Management Resources (UK) Ltd, based in Telford, which designed and delivered the training for the company congratulated Coffee Snobs on the award,
“Coffee Snobs is an exemplar to others in how embracing the value of training brings benefits for both the individual employee and the business. Embedding a culture of learning throughout the organisation has most certainly aided Coffee Snobs in their rapid growth from one to five shops and from 6 to 65 staff in 3 years”.
