Texaco
BMR has a national contract with Texaco (Chevron Ltd) to meet the training
needs of the staff in Texaco's 600+ service stations across England,
Wales and Ireland. Training involves the delivery of Level 2 and 3 Retail
qualifications. Level 3 and 4 Management qualifications and apprenticeships
at Level 2 and 3. To compliment the acquisition of qualifications by
individual employees, BMR are also delivering bespoke internal training
for Texaco sites including health & safety, customer service and
retail training modules. Effective partnership with a national employer
has resulted in a success rate of 82% for Retail NVQ's and an exceptional
88% success rate for Level 2 Retail Apprenticeships.
To ensure parity of access to learning and resources for employees in
isolated/rural areas and where the number of employees is very small,
Texaco and BMR developed mobile training facilities. The Mobile Training
Unit is a learning centre which includes learning resources and facilities
for group work and learning support. It has proved very popular and
successful in terms of encouraging participation and access to training
and has expanded into 2 mobile facilities to meet demand for learning.
