Overview

This NVQ will be suitable for you if you establish contact with clients and introduce them to a service. You should be providing information, advice and guidance directly to clients in a customer service role. You can be working in any organisation or industry

Qualification structure

Learners should complete the following 3 mandatory units


Unit 301 – Establish communication with clients for advice and guidance

Unit 302 – Support clients to make use of the Advice and Guidance service

Unit 315 – Review own contribution to the service

 

And any 3 optional units from the following

 

Unit 303 – Develop interactions with advice and guidance clients

Unit 304 – Interact with clients using a range of media

Unit 305 – Assist advice and guidance clients to decide on a course of action

Unit 306 – Prepare clients through advice and guidance for the implementation of a course of action

Unit 307 – Assist clients through advice and guidance to review their achievement of a course of action

Unit 311 – Negotiate on behalf of advice and guidance clients

Unit 312 – Liaise with other services

Unit 313 – Enable advice and guidance clients to access referral opportunities

Unit 321 – Provide and maintain information materials for use in the service

Unit 327 – Facilitate learning in groups

Unit 331 – Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety

Unit 332 – Ensure your actions contribute to a positive and safe working environment

Unit 333 – Enable learning through demonstrations and instruction
